SOWING AND GROWING

In Mar-Apr sow thinly direct into finely raked, moist, warm soil at a depth of about 13mm (½") (Germination takes 10-21 days). Thin seedlings to 38cm (15") between plants. Can also be sown Feb-Mar in a propagator on a windowsill at approx. 15-20°C (60-68°F). Transplant seedlings into 15cm (6") pots or direct outside. Grows best in well cultivated soil in a sunny position. To dry sage for winter use, hang in an airy shed or garage; when dry rub finely. Store in airtight containers.

Aids digestion of fatty foods. Quality Control: This seed has been carefully tested to ensure high germination. Prior to use, store in a dry cool place.
