Day 28: Free Will: The Domain of the Victim and the Victor Today, we’re going to explore the answer to “fate or free will” within the context of the Victim and the Victor.
The Victim At the Victim levels of consciousness, the immediate and obvious answer to the question "fate or free will?" seems to be "mostly fate". That's because at the Victim levels, while it seems that you do have a limited amount of free will to make decisions, you probably feel largely powerless to make the important decisions that have a big effect on your life. For example, you may not think you are powerful enough to choose where you work or what you do or how much money you make; instead, these things seem to be determined by factors beyond your control, such as your family background, the economy, employment laws, executives and hiring managers at potential employers, and so on. However, recognize that you do have the power to make some small choices, perhaps including what TV shows you watch after work, or whether you get the tacos or the hamburger at the company cafeteria. If you look more deeply at what's going on at the Victim levels of consciousness, I think you'll find that most of the important things in life are seemingly beyond the victim's control. But it isn't really fate – instead, the victim's life is instead controlled and decided by other beings via their free will. Typically this might include your boss, your parents, the government, your landlord, your husband, your wife, your kids, the economy, etc. Hence, the "mostly fate" answer isn't really pointing us to Divine Will or a sense of predestination, but is instead simply a reflection of the belief that you aren't powerful enough to take charge of your life because what happens in your life is primarily influenced by other (usually more powerful or more important) people making decisions with their free will. Thus, I would say that a better answer to the question "Fate or Free Will?" in the context of the Victim levels of consciousness is actually "Free Will"... but more precisely, it's "mostly other people's Free Will."
The Victor
At the Victor levels, the answer to the question "Fate or Free Will?" is clear: free will is the winner! After all, by using the power of your mind, you know that you can learn to powerfully influence and consciously manifest in all aspects of your life, including your physical health, mental health, career, level of income, relationships, and even level of spiritual development. As the Victor, you recognize and live in the truth that you have the power of the entire Universe available to you, and if you can learn to get out of your own way and program your subconscious mind to achieve what you want in life, you really can live a life full of health, wealth, and love! Most New Age products, tools, classes, and teachings – including most of my Formula for Miracles content and the VIP Club offerings and lot of the live trainings I do – are primarily aimed at the Victor levels. Personally, I'm committed to using the VIP Club as a vehicle to provide everyone who is interested with the "best of the best" of the most powerful and most effective tools of consciousness that create meaningful, easy, and lasting positive changes in your life. But as with all things, the power and effectiveness of those tools – their "truth" - is relative to a context, and in this case the context is a particular range of consciousness. In terms of the Hawkins scale, I expect that these tools of consciousness (such as manifesting, subconscious reprogramming, energy healing, etc.) will be extremely effective for people ranging from the high Victim levels of vibration (say, over 100) through all the Victor levels (200-499) and all the way up through the mid range of the Vehicle vibrations (maybe up to 700 or so.) It may seem like a strange claim to make, but I do not believe that even my products, tools, and techniques will be useful, effective, or interesting for all people. On one extreme, people living in extremely low vibrations (below 100) simply don't have the proper philosophical, social, or intellectual background to accept, understand, and apply these tools, because you can't skip steps – every level of spiritual development is important. On the other extreme, people who strongly embody the Vehicle state (that is, above 700 on the Hawkins scale) have no desire or need to manipulate the content of their life to get more money, more health, more love, etc., and hence trying to teach them energy healing or the Law of Attraction would be akin to coaching someone in a game they just aren't playing anymore. However, there is a major flaw at the foundation of the entire New Age movement and just about every teaching on the Law of Attraction, spirituality, and energy healing, and exposing this flaw changes the answer to “fate or free will?” in the Vehicle state. And this flaw is exactly what we're going to cover next!
