2017 CYO Volleyball Registration Registration is open and goes now through December 24, 2017. Anyone who asks to register December 25 or after will be put on a wait list and admitted when space permits. Register Online only at: http://sports.bluesombrero.com/Default.aspx?tabid=812920 Cost: $75

Any child registering December 25th or after is subject to a $25 late fee.

Pay by credit card online when registering or by check (mail or send to school): St. Chris Boosters, c/o Alex Gonter-Dray, 435 E. National Road, Vandalia, OH 45377 Ages: Grades 4th grade through 8th grade for 2016/2017 school year. Divisions: Boys and Girls - If multiple teams are required for each grade/gender, we will have an evaluation in December and split teams after that evaluation. Who can play: Any child who is a student at St. Christopher School and/or family is registered with St. Christopher Parish. Practices: Start approx. late January and practice 2 times a week. Once season starts, most coaches still practice 1-2 times a week depending on weeknight games. We will begin finding practice time as basketball practices end and start with the younger teams first. Games: Games start February 18, 2017 and tournament is completed before Easter. In the past most games have been on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) with a few week night games. Regular season is 8-10 games and tournament is single elimination. Tentative game schedules will be out around February 8, 2017. Uniforms: Shirts will be provided (boys t-shirts and girls sleeveless). All shirts will be kept by athelete upon conclusion of the season. Participants are to provide their own shorts and knee pads. Playing on multiple teams? Please be mindful if your child is playing on multiple teams and the effect it could have on your CYO team (i.e. conflicting schedules and potentially leaving your team short players). Refunds: Refunds will only be given for illness or injuries that will prevent child from participating in the entire season and only if requested prior to the first game of the season. We will do our best to accommodate all athletes a chance to play, but this may not always happen due to variations in participation rates. If we do not have enough players for an age division, we may combine grades, ask players to play up or down, find players from another school/parish or other alternative options to maximize the participation rate of our registered play ers.
