2017 St. Chris CYO Golf Registration

2017 St. Chris CYO Golf Registration Registration is open and goes now through June 15, 2017. Anyone who asks to register June 16 or after will be put on a wait list. Register Online only at: http://sports.bluesombrero.com/Default.aspx?tabid=812920 or click on Athletic Boosters from St. Christopher Parish and School website: www.stchristopheronline.com Cost: $35 (Each player is responsible at additional costs for their Shirt, Greens Fees, Range Balls) Anyone registering after June 16 or after is subject to a $25 late fee. Pay online when registering or by check (mail or send to school): St. Chris Boosters c/o Alex Gonter-Dray 435 E. National Road Vandalia, OH 45377 Ages: Grades 4th through 8th for 2016/2017 school year. Divisions: Boys, Girls, Coed (coaches will pair golfers based on a level of play) Who can play: Anyone who is a student and/or parishioner at St. Christopher, St. Patrick or St. John’s. If playing for public school Jr. High team, you are NOT able to participate due to OHSAA rules. Skill level: Players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. It is highly recommended that all participants have played and know the basic rules and etiquette of the game. Practices: Coaches discretion…Generally 1-2 days a week at the driving range. Games: Matches are played on Sundays at Kitty Hawk Golf Course. Matches start late August and are done by mid-October. Greens fees range from $5 to $7 each week. All matches will be 9 holes. Uniforms & Equipment: Golf Shirt needs to be provided for new players and returning players who have outgrown their previous shirt. Players need to wear clothing appropriate for the Golf Course. Each player is responsible for all golf clubs, other clothing, shoes, etc. It is the coach’s discretion if players need to wear anything specific for matches. Volunteers: Parents will be needed to walk and keep score with each group during practices. Please let your coach know when you can be of assistance. Playing on multiple teams? Please be mindful if your child is playing on multiple teams and the effect it could have on your CYO team (i.e. conflicting schedules and potentially leaving your team short players).
