2017 Rapids Area Baseball Camp June 19 – June 22, 2017 Cost is only $60/$65 at the door * Fees are non-refundable
Grades 3 – 4 – 5 – 6 Will meet from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Grades 7 – 8 – 9 – 10 Will meet from 10:00 – Noon Camper to Coach Ratio Traditionally, we have 1 coach for every 5 – 6 campers. Camp objective: to provide basic and advanced fundamentals of baseball (throwing, fielding, bunting, hitting, and baserunning). We teach the fundamentals at the individual level, and provide an opportunity to apply them in game situations. Camp staff includes: LHS coaches Bob Gawlitta, the LHS Coaching Staff, Rafters players & Head Coach Craig Noto, and the LHS baseball team. Facilities Weather permitting, the clinic will be held at Witter Field. Campers are to meet at Witter where attendance will be taken and equipment distributed to be taken to the fields. Parents can plan on picking up their child from Witter after each session. In the case of inclement weather, camp will take place in the (East) Junior High School Field house. What to Bring: Glove Baseball shoes Baseball cap Bat (optional) Water bottle It is recommended to write your child’s name on his possessions. He is expected to take his equipment home each day. We will have water at the field, though we advise the camper to fill his water bottle before heading to the field for the day’s session.

I have read and understand that neither the LHS Baseball Camp director and instructors, the City of Wisconsin Rapids, nor the Rafters baseball association will be held responsible for injuries or loss of property while the below-named student-athlete is attending this camp. I do hereby release Lincoln High School, Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools, and the aforementioned parties from any and all liability for any injuries and illness incurred at camp. I also authorize the LHS baseball camp staff to act for me according to their best judgment in any emergency requiring medical attention.
