Join us for an exciting morning of 4-H workshops!
9:00 to 9:30 a.m.—Registration 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.—Session 1 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.—Session 2 11:45 to 12 noon—Wrap-Up/Evaluation

A. Chalkboard Christmas Tree and Ornaments
- Instructor: Holly Harwood, Cost: $10.00 Create a wood slice Christmas tree on a slate chalkboard background to keep or give as a gift. You will also make chalkboard wood slice ornaments. What to bring: Helping hands from an adult for using a hot glue gun! OFFERED SESSION 1 ONLY
B. Snowman Terra-Cotta Pots
– Instructor: Jessie Nickerson, Cost: $6.00 Make a snowman filled with goodies and a card to go with it to make a complete holiday gift! What to bring: All materials provided by instructor.
C. Cookie Baking/Decorating - Instructors: Deb Nickerson & Colleen Raiber, Cost:

Bake spritz cookies and decorate Christmas cutout cookies! What to bring: All materials provided by instructor.
D. Christmas Evergreen Centerpiece –
Instructors: Hans & Grace Kunze, Cost: $5.00 Create a small festive Christmas arrangement using evergreens (with a focus on Fraser fir) and accented with berries. Makes a great gift or holiday arrangement for your own home! What to bring: Garden shears for cutting evergreens. OFFERED SESSION 1 ONLY
E. Poinsettia Ornament –
Instructor: Karen Milligan, Cost: $3.00 Create a poinsettia ornament from bird seed and sunflower seeds! Required skills: patience, gluing, and painting What to bring: A small soft paint brush, shears.

F. Holiday Bath Fizzies –
Instructor: Katie Marusarz, Cost: $6.00 Create your own personalized bath fizzies to give as gifts or keep for yourself! Required skills: patience and creativity! What to bring: All materials provided by instructor.
G. Paper Snowflakes – Instructor:
Tracy Fisher and Nora Fisher, Cost: $1.00 Learn how to fold and cut paper to make uniquely shaped snowflakes with snowmen, reindeer, and Christmas trees, as well as traditional snowflake shapes! Use patterns provided, and then create your own. (Note: Participants need to be able to handle sharp, pointy scissors) What to bring: Sharp, pointy scissors.
H. Electric Christmas Tree Ornament – Instructor:
Tanya Nickerson, Cost: $9.00 Use soldering and basic electric principles to make a circuit board in the shape of a Christmas tree that will light up. Required skills: Awareness to not touch something hot! What to bring: All materials provided by instructor.
I. Canvas Painting with “Natural Brushes” – Instructor:
Sarah Carlson, Cost: $10.00 Using brushes made from twigs, pine leaves and more, create an abstract painting to hang at home or give as a gift! What to bring: Easel to use, if you have one. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy with paint!
J. Pinwheel Wool Sheep Ornament –
Instructors: Kim & Mary Jane Mathis, Cost: $1.00 Repurpose wool sweater pieces to make a pinwheel sheep ornament (a variety of colors will be available)! Required skills: Working with glue, needle, and wire. What to bring: All materials provided by instructor.
K. Christmas Ornaments - Fun & Quick – Instructor:
Kay Swyers, Cost: $3.00 Participants will have an opportunity to make a minimum of 2 ornaments from the following options: lighted snowman, candy cane heart, hot cocoa snowman, and winter hat. Ornaments will depend on age group of majority of class participants. What to bring: All materials provided by instructor. OFFERED SESSION 1 ONLY
L. Woven Necklace –
Instructor: Kay Swyers, Cost: $3.00 Create a woven necklace using a cardboard loom (Design may vary from picture). What to bring: All materials provided by instructor.
