Maweni What a week!! We have had the most amazing time at Maweni this year. We spent the week in school with the children working on the different projects and seeing what a huge difference our fundraising and donations have made to the children. We gave every child a toothbrush and the orphans all had a new shirt and some of the children who did not have shoes were given a new pair. They were so happy with their gifts. We built the keyhole garden which was a huge success with other schools coming to see it and making them at their own schools. We will be having an after school event before Christmas to share our fantastic experience and show you photographs from past years and this year so that you can see the improvements that have been made. Miss Curtis, Mrs Harrison & Mrs Salisbury PFA Family Disco – Friday 18th November 6.00pm – 8.00pm (Village Hall) The Family Disco is fast approaching. There will be glitter tattoos, hot dogs, and a tuck shop for children, beer and wine for the adults!!

Please take the time to read this and consider using this site to help the PFA raise funds for the school without it costing you a penny……. easyfundraising.org.uk helps charities, schools, sports clubs, community groups, and other good causes to raise money when their supporters shop online. So far they've raised over £3 million for causes throughout the UK. It works in a similar way to nectar, but instead of earning points when you shop, you raise a donation for your cause instead. It's as simple as that. You can shop with over 2,000 well known stores and each will donate up to 15% of what you spend. For example, John Lewis will donate 2.5%, Amazon 2.5%, The Body Shop 10%, some insurance retailers will even donate up to £30 simply for taking out a policy with them. With over 2,000 shops available from Adams, to Zavvi, if you are shopping on-line please check to see if the shop website is listed and go to their webpage via easyfundraising instead. Remember the retailers donate to the school not you!
Remember: It doesn’t cost you a penny more.

The great thing is it won't cost you any more, plus they've got lots of voucher codes and special discounts so you can actually save money while you help your good cause. There is no cost for the good cause either – this service is totally free. How to generate donations: It's very simple - once you've registered with easyfundraising, when you shop with one of their retailers, their system makes a note of your purchase, collects the donation from the retailer and passes it to your chosen good cause. That's it, no hassle for you; they do all the hard work while you shop as you normally would.
