America’s sweetheart, actress Julia Roberts, is unloading her beachy Greenwich Village apartment, according to the Post. The listing, which is not yet public, is held by Stribling and describes a 2,000-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom co-op at postwar building 45 West 10th Street. Roberts bought the penthouse apartment for $3,895,400 in 2010 and now hopes to get $4.5 million for it.
The apartment is described as “easy breezy” and “Hamptons/California-style beachy.” The large living room is anchored by a wood-burning fireplace and opens to the spacious terrace, which has plenty of room for entertaining.
It seems that Roberts may be looking to downsize; she recently listed her Hawaiian estate for $30 million. She still has her West Coast home, she and her family spend the majority of their time, but she’s also renting out her Gramercy Park house.
