SERVING MEET NEW PEOPLE. SERVE OTHERS. FILL A NEED. Want to know what makes Crossroads happen? Volunteers. Thousands of them, doing everything from connecting with kids and brewing coffee to leading our big ReachOut events. It’s all important, and it’s all done by average volunteers. And yes, we need you. Whether you want to make some connections or simply want to get involved in the great stuff happening around here, there’s a serving role just for you. It’s not a lifetime commitment; try it out and see how it fits. Who knows? You might even have a lot of fun.

TRY IT OUT. FILL OUT THE BACK, TEAR IT OFF AND DROP IN A BUCKET ON THE TABLES JUST OUTSIDE THE AUDITORIUM. WE’LL CONTACT YOU TO GET THINGS STARTED. FOR THE LATEST INFORMATION ON THE MOST URGENT SERVING NEEDS, PLEASE VISIT CROSSROADS.NET/ENGAGE. *You can pick up additional serving cards at the Info Center.

7 HILLS we die on

WE ARE COMMITTED TO:

doing life together We aren’t interested in being a place where a lot of people get together for an inspiring service but never move beyond the casual, arm's distance relationships of an auditorium. We want to grow by really “doing life together.” People who grow in their relationship with God also grow in their friendships with each other, moving beyond the Auditorium in small groups, Community Groups and through serving. Real community is knowing and being known, loving and being loved, celebrating and being celebrated, serving and being served. Hebrews 10:24–25

The Seven Hills We Die On are applications of biblical truth expressed through the unique personality of Crossroads. Check out the Info Center for the rest of ‘em.

Is Brian Tome a real pastor? Find out the answer to this and any other questions you have at the next Context Live event on Sunday, June 20 at 1pm at Crossroads Oakley. You’ll also discover more about the vision behind Crossroads and how you can get involved (if you want). Meet some people. Get some questions answered. Eat some (free) lunch. Childcare provided. WHAT’S HAPPENING AROUND CROSSROADS

TANIA Tania White brews coffee for First Impressions on Saturday nights and still finds time to serve in Kids’ Club, too.

WHEELS NEEDS YOUR CAR

PRAYER

If you have a used car that’s in decent condition, consider donating it to Wheels. They’ll recondition it, make minor repairs and give it to a member of our community. You’ll get a tax deduction and, more importantly, the satisfaction of knowing that you’ve been a huge blessing to someone in need. To make a donation, call 513.731.7400 x584.

Available after each service in your Auditorium seat. For other ways to receive prayer, or to find out about serving on the Prayer Team, go to crossroads.net/prayer. All requests are held in strict confidence.

What led you to serve? I wanted to pass on the healing, grace, love and freedom I have received. And serving is the biggest adrenaline rush you can have.

For more info on things happening around Crossroads, visit crossroads.net, or “like” us on Facebook at facebook.com/crdschurch.

Why would you encourage others to serve? Serving breaks down strongholds. It gets people walking in love.

HELP CREATE NEW BEGINNINGS New Beginnings works with oncehomeless families to help them get re-established, by helping them fill their new homes and building relationships. There are opportunities to serve; moving furniture, painting and decorating and cleaning and organizing. You can also help by donating gently used furniture, small appliances and kitchen items. For more details on donating or to sign up to serve, email [email protected], or call 513.731.7400 x388.

Have you learned anything from serving? I’ve learned what sacrificial love looks like in real time.

If you’d like to serve in First Impressions or in Kids’ Club, visit crossroads.net/engage to learn more and to sign up.
