Activating your Tradeshift account The following stepbystep walkthrough describes how to activate your Tradeshift account, so you can start invoicing your connected companies: Step 1) In your email inbox, you will find an invitation to connect with Zurich on Tradeshift. Click on the Green activation button embedded in the email.
Step 2) You are taken to an Invitation page, where you can see the Zurich client on the right, which you are invited to connect with. Click the green button to accept the invitation.
Step 3) Verify the basic information (Company name, Email address, Country and Language), which is prepopulated from the customer’s master data. The basic information can also be edited/rectified. Then click the green button to create your Tradeshift profile.
Step 4) Upon pressing the green button in step 3, you will see a webpage that asks you to check your email. Close this page and wait for the activation email. The purpose of the activation email is to confirm that your email address is valid. It may take 1 minute but could be up to 2 hours to receive the email.
Step 5) When you have received the activation email, click the green button to activate your account. It will then prompt you to set your password.
Step 6) Set your password, First name and Last Name, then click the green button. You have now created your profile in Tradeshift, and you are signed into Tradeshift.
Step 7) By navigating to the Network view in the menu bar, you can now see which Zurich company entities you are connected to, and are able to invoice.
Important Note: By signing up to Tradeshift through the activation link (referred to in step 1) you will automatically be connected to the Zurich business entities evident from the supplier master data supplied by the customer.
