HOUSING The fixture fitter shall be one piece cast aluminum. The housing shall have tool-less access to the lamp by means of a threaded fitter on the lens. The lens shall be one piece formed DR acrylic, sealed to a cast aluminum threaded fitter for attaching to the fixture, with no hardware. The fixture is relamped by unscrewing the lens two full turns.

REFRACTOR The refractor shall be precision molded borosilicate glass. The refractor shall be gasketed, top and bottom, to allow for heat expansion ELECTRICAL Electrical components shall be mounted and wired to the cast fitter for cooler operation. The ballast compartment shall be sealed with an aluminum cover. All electrical components and materials shall be U.L. recognized. Ballasts are high power factor rated for -30°C starting. Medium and mogul base porcelain sockets are 4KV rated. MOUNTING Fixture slips over a 4"/100mm O.D. pole for post top mounting.
COLOR (Provide RAL)
FINISH Fixture finish consists of a five stage pretreatment (Provide color chip for matching) regimen with a polymer primer sealer, oven dry off, and top coated with a thermoset super TGIC polyester powder coat finish. The finish shall meet the AAMA 605.2 performance specification which includes passing a 3000 hour salt spray test for 4. Options corrosion resistance.
