to All Saints Church - Retreat Center, 9302 Blondo Street, Omaha
April 7 will be a “COME AND GO” WORKDAY for WOMEN IN NEED Deacon Teresa Houser will start the day at 10AM with information on Magdalene House and Friends of Tamar. There will also be information on the S.O.A.P. (Save Our Adolescents from Prostitution) project. Work projects will assist these organizations help women who have been trafficked, or who are victims of domestic violence, in their time of crisis.
What work will you do there? Your choice! ❖ Cut, sew and fill tote bags ❖ Make note cards ❖ Place trafficking hotline labels on bars of soap for hotels ❖ Enjoy fellowship, eat, and have fun! Do I have to work the entire day? Stay one hour, two hours, or the full day. Lunch provided for $7. If you wish lunch, please RSVP to Carol Ott at [email protected] or 402-469-9264. If you are coming from out of town, we have limited volunteer homes availability. Ask Carol about housing when you RSVP! OPTIONAL SUPPLIES YOU MAY BRING: scissors, pins, portable sewing machine, 1 yard of fabric, card stock, colored pencils, assorted markers This workday is sponsored by Diocesan Assembly of Nebraska Daughters of the King.
