TIME TO REGISTER FOR CAREER EXPLORATIONS 2017! The time has come to register for Career Explorations 2017! Career Explorations will take place June 27-29, 2017 at Cornell University. This is a one of a kind event that takes youth into the college experience with 3 days and two nights of spending time in academic departments, walking to classes eating in the dining hall and sleeping in the dormitories. This is the top rated program from NYS 4-H, offering youth the real world experiences that come with higher education and career development. The cost of this awesome program is $260. Payment must be made upon registration. **Financial Aid/Need based assistance may be available from NYS 4-H. If you have any questions, please contact Melissa.
Programs (especially FFT) are available on a first registered, first served basis. It is important to register early to get a spot in the program that you are hoping to attend. TIOGA CO. 4-H TEEN MEETING Tioga County 4-H Teens! Based on the responses to the Doodle Poll sent last week, the 4-H Teen Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the CCE Conference Room. This opportunity is open to all enrolled 4-H members, age 13 and up. There will be some food and 4-H Fun. Please let Melissa know if you have any dietary needs or any questions at:

4-H ARCHERY TO BEGIN The 4-H Archery Project will be held Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. The cost is $10.00. All youth participants must by 8 years old and up as of January 1, 2017. Contact Jody in the 4-H Office to sign up. There are still 5 openings available.
4-H ANIMAL SCIENCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING The next 4-H Animal Science Advisory Committee meeting is Monday, May 1 at 6:30 p.m. in the CCE Conference Room.
4-H HORSE PROGRAM TACK AUCTION & BOTTLE AND CAN DRIVE The 4-H Horse Program is hosting its annual JP North’s Equine Tack Auction on Friday, April 28 in the 4-H Youth Building. The preview begins at 5:00 p.m. and the auction begins at 6:00 p.m. There will also be a can and bottle drive.
