Game Notes FIRST PITCH Gettysburg takes on the McDaniel College Green Terror in its next-to-last regular-season home event of the season. ALL-TIME SERIES The Bullets lead McDaniel 81-34-3 in the all-time series that stretches all the way back to 1888. The Green Terror have captured four of the last five meetings after Gettysburg had won nine of the previous 10 match-ups. LAST TIME OUT Sophomore Charlie Clarke drew a bases-loaded, game-ending walk in the bottom of the 10th inning in the nightcap, helping the Bullets salvage a split versus Swarthmore in a Centennial Conference doubleheader this past Sunday here at Kirchhoff Field. Swarthmore won the opener 10-1 before the Bullets rallied for a 6-5 victory in the second game. Junior Logan Sneed enjoyed a 6-for-9 day at the plate for the Bullets and went 4-for-4 in the opener while senior Connor Tom finished 4-for-8 with a pair of doubles on the day. On the mound, sophomore Will Wortmann turned in a stellar relief appearance in the second game for Gettysburg, blanking the Garnet with 4 1/3 innings of no-hit ball. LAST SEASON VERSUS MCDANIEL The Green Terror took two of three games from Gettysburg last season. The two sides split their regular-season series, with the Bullets winning 17-6 in Westminster before McDaniel captured a 15-1 decision in Gettysburg. Then in the first elimination game of the Centennial Conference playoffs, McDaniel prevailed 4-1. In the first game, Henry Klimowicz ’16 went 5-for-6 for the Bullets, slugging four extra-base hits (three doubles, one triple) while tying the school record for hits in a game. Brad DeMartino pitched six innings to earn the win while Will Wortmann tossed the final three frames to pick up the save. In the second game, Zach Kronick allowed just four hits and struck out six over eight innings for McDaniel while Kevin Reitz went

4-for-5. Then in the CC playoffs, Marty Windisch tossed a 10-hit complete game while Cameron Bahr finished 3-for-4 to lead McDaniel. Will Anderson went 3-for-4 to pace the Bullets while Jonny Bray fired three scoreless innings of relief. AMONG THE CONFERENCE LEADERS Several Bullets currently find themselves ranked among the Centennial Conference leaders in a statistical category. Junior Chuck Probst is first in hits (59), triples (8), and slugging percentage (.694), tied for second in RBIs (31), and third in batting average (.410). In addition, senior Chase Stopyra lead the conference in ERA (1.35) while classmate Aaron Bezio is tied for first in saves (5). SCOUTING THE GREEN TERROR In its last time out, McDaniel came away with a split at Franklin & Marshall, winning 8-3 in the opener before dropping a 7-0 decision in the nightcap. Freshman Jordan Rhodes went the distance in the first game, tossing an eight-hit complete game. For the season, graduate student Nick Valori has enjoyed an outstanding year and is leading the Centennial Conference with a .458 batting average. Senior Kasey Nelson has also posted big numbers offensively and ranks sixth in the conference with 29 RBIs. In addition, Antonio Rosanova has piled up a league-leading 22 steals. On the mound, sophomore Zach Fortuna has posted a team-leading 39 strikeouts over 46 2/3 innings while classmate Brad Thaxton has gone 4-3 to lead the squad in wins.
