Ashley Chronicle Dates For Your Diary Return to school - Monday 8th January A Day at Nissan On Wednesday 20th December, Miss Westwood’s Year 6 class spent the day at Nissan learning about history of the company and how they make their cars. This was done through the Monozukuri Caravan Programme. We created our own Lego car production lines, had a tour of the training area of the factory (where we watched a robot write Owen's name) and were able to practise some of the key skills involved in building cars!

The children have all enjoyed a Christmas party in school this week. They had lots of fun playing traditional games, dancing and eating a delicious buffet. Santa even made an appearance at some of the parties. Here are some of the Reception children with the man himself!

Ju Jitsu Award Jack McVey, in Year 4, passed his Brown & White Belt in Ju Jitsu with credits last weekend. Jack trains every week at Chuter Ede. The children and staff loved every minute of the visit and can't thank the staff enough for their generous gifts of resources to use in school.
