Discipline Discipline is the process of teaching acceptable behavior and self control. We use two simple methods that have been proven to be e ective and are suggested by Awana.

- 5 count - Used when clubbers are disrupting the group. The leader holds up their hands and count along silently. - 3 count - Used when an individual repeatedly disrupts the club. The will be given 3 chances to change their behavior. If the clubber continues to be disruptive, they will be taken to the commander who will notify the parents.

What is AWANA? Awana is a nondenominational program, used in reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve him. The name AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed coming from 2 Timothy 2:15:
2 year old class - This class is an introduction to the Awana program for young kids.
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (KJV) We will have an Awana club meeting each week in which children will play games, memorize scripture, hear Bible stories and receive awards and recognition for their hard work.
3 & 4 year old class - Positive and fun time that emphasizes parental involvement and Bible memorization through two handbooks: AppleSeed & Honeycomb.
Clubbers earn points if they: -

- Attend Sunday Small Groups - Bring Friends - Participation
Attendance
Kindergarten - 2nd Grade class Bible memorization, games, awards and vests make this club fun for kids. Handbooks include: Hang Glider, Wing Runner and Sky Stormer.
Clubbers are encouraged to attend Awana and Sunday School on a regular basis in order to receive attendance awards. We allow one unexcused absence per quarter. Excused absences are ones such as sickness or vacation. Perfect Attendance Award goes to one who
Meeting Time Awana starts at 6:00 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. Sunday evenings starting September 7. Our club year runs in line with the traditional school year. We do not meet Easter Sunday or the month of December with the exception of the
3rd Grade - 6th Grade class Clubbers learn answers to their questions about God and the Bible. NEW! The Ultimate Adventure for 3rd & 4th grade and The Ultimate Challenge for 5th & 6th grade.
