The purpose of the role is to enhance the information technology infrastructure to support the changing business requirement in the fast digitization world. Core Insurance functional understanding o Understand data points of Core Life Insurance Policy Admin application o Have worked on New Business / Policy Servicing operational processes o Have an understanding of Insurance Domain o Advanced Excel Skills and worked on data analysis Requirement analysis for IT automation and change management process o Understanding and documenting business requirements o Translate business requirement to technical team o Demand / Change management process and problem management o Functional Testing of automation before delivery to business users o Involves in gathering business requirements by interacting with the business users o Manage expectations of Business users o Involve in preparation of UAT plan and facilitate as well as participate in UAT to obtain user’s sign-off Data discovery, analytics & reports o Rationalization of reports with business users o Coordinate between technical team & users during redesigning reports o Performing functional testing of reports as SIT Your responsibilities
Conducts business requirements gathering workshop / meetings with business users Rationalize requirements and manage expectations of Business users Prepare functional test bed & perform SIT Plan UAT and coordinate for user’s sign-off Cross functional User Coordination. Requirement status tracking and follow up coordination,

documenting MOM Worked on MIS automation project and redesigning of reports or data requests. Managing integration & interfaces of digital applications with ODS & data marts Understanding of scoping an automation project and controlling the scope Experience of managing large UAT projects Project status tracking and reporting Coordinate with vendor support team members for objectives of meeting change / problem management processes SLA Management – Track and Monitor SLA’s related to availability, quality and uptimes Should be able to work independently with vendor & technology support teams
Position requirements
Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent 4-8 years relevant IT experience with at least 2 full cycles of SDLC based project management Insurance domain knowledge and experience in insurance domain is preferable Have working knowledge of managing infrastructure, data centers, networks and helpdesks Should have hands on experience in business analysis; Experience of managing vendor is critical Creative and analytical ability in problem resolution and troubleshooting BRD Documentation & flowcharting Knowledge of SQL & database technology
