The AXA Global Graduate Program is a 2 to 2 and a half year program supporting top talent to gain the skills and competencies necessary to successfully accelerate their careers and fulfill their potential. On the AXA Global Graduate Program 2016, AXA Global Direct is seeking a Pricing analyst who will join a team (15 members) that is dedicated to advanced data analysis. This individual will have strong inter-personal skills allowing him/her to evolve in a highly exposed and international environment. After 12 months in this position you will have an opportunity to work for a period of 12 months in an AXA business overseas.

Global Pricing Team (GPT) Insurance is a unique product – at the time that we sell a policy we do not know how much it will cost us. Each of our customers is a unique person. Therefore our mission is that ever customer should be offered a unique price that is right for them. The global pricing team is dedicated to using the most advanced techniques to analyze data from diverse sources to ensure AXA is a leading provider of insurance. The team is multi-disciplinary with backgrounds including statistics, programming, data analytics and mathematics. We work together to set prices in the AXA Direct entities. Among some of our projects are:
Researching innovative pricing approaches Opening up new sources of data Finding better ways to utilize existing data Performing statistical analysis of competitors’ tariffs
Your responsibilities Perform pricing modelling and analyses on behalf of entities. Price and elasticity modelling to optimize sales and profits. Claims modelling to set core prices for products. Data analyses to improve the accuracy of prices and optimize the new business and renewal processes.

Position requirements Professional and technical skills Master’s degree or equivalent dual diploma (or PhD) in computer science, actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, physics Relevant work experience; Analytical skills / Ability to evolve in a complex and diverse technical environment; Motivated by an international and dynamic environment and willing to relocate after 12 months (note: international mobility will be based on motivation and individual performance); Fluent in English - both written and spoken;
