AYSO Region 350 Minutes Monthly Meeting 6PM, May 8, 2017 Pima County Community College
1. Attendees: a. Bryan Garcia, Belen Garcia, Amy Sage, Wayne Wilson, Dawn Gilmore, Michael Gilmore, Matt Manis, Dale Dunn, Tanisha Kendrick, Xavier Smith, Ed Smith, Dan Pape 2. Meeting was called to order at 7:03pm 3. Review minutes a. It was moved by Michael Gilmore and seconded by Amy Sage to approve the minutes as written. 4. RAP and Budget signature a. Reviewed RAP and signed RAP. 5. Summer meetings, matches, etc a. Board will meet in June and not in July. b. Registration in August. i. Belen and Amy will contact Chik-fil-a, Peter Piper, Culvers to see who can accommodate us. 6. Summer Camps a. Challenger Camps i. May 22-26 & August 7-11 sessions at Dan Felix ii. Ed will ask Tom or Melissa to send camp announcement 7. Treasurer Report a. Balance: $3,029.19 b. All accounts have been consolidated into one account at Wells Fargo 8. Registrar/Fields Report a. Some new players registered in new Blue Sombrero system. b. Registration flyers to be dropped off at area schools. 9. Adult Soccer a. Policies and Procedures, web site, bank account need to be set up. Belen Garcia will be working on it. Age 18 and older, Co-ed, for players. Sunday will be the day. Time is TBD (Evening). It will be Jamboree style 7 v 7. One Referee at this point.
10. Blue Sombrero/Social Media a. Region has new Facebook account. b. Register volunteers and players on ayso350.org. 11. Charter Schools & Preschools connection a. Ed will be talking to some charter schools and preschools about our region organizing intramural soccer games. We will have them playing on the fields after 19U teams finish in November on Wednesdays and Saturdays. They will have to register under AYSO. 12. New Business a. Complete Registrations for Volunteers. b. Challenge program tryouts May 1-5. Approximately 190 players tried out. c. New soccer alliances. FC Tucson and CDO, Tanque Verde, & Vail. 13. Meeting Adjourned a. It was moved by Belen Garcia and seconded by Michael Gilmore to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 8:59 pm.
