Call to Order & Intro: Heather Billing @ 6:30 PM August 2017 Minutes: Motion to approve by Todd/second by Maggie board approves unanimously with no changes. Treasurer Report: Heather Billing for Nick Drews o Expenses remain low, expect Score uniform invoice soon. Registration: James White o 1144 registered players. 16 or so on the Waiting List. Activated 3 Schoolyard Players. o Blue Sombrero process is improving, bugs are being fixed between BSB and AYSOU. o Hot waitlist is G14U, but it doesn’t look like it will move. Opened up BS to allow registrations if division not full. Coach Administrator and All Star Director: David Marshall o Coach Training held 2 sessions in September o Coaches uncertified are: 3 in 6U, 17 in 8U, 12 in 10U, 0 in 12U, 2 in 14U, 0 in 16U,19U. Plan is to start earlier next year. o October 1st is the deadline for coach training – Heather to Check with Area Q to see if this is still true o All Star Coach Interest Meeting – October 2, 2017. Location TBD o Lessons learned from Scheduling using BSB. All 8:00am games not good, did not alternate B and G in older divisions so all of G14U is playing at end of day. Plan to return to alternating genders in fall 2018. CVPA: Todd Cooper o Reviewed background check process. Safety: Dina Clark o Working on gathering Incident Reports o Plan to order Yard Signs to post in front of goals to prevent kids from climbing on goals. Referee Admin and Webmaster: Duane Hall o Live Referee Training Dates – 9/22 and 10/12 6-9pm, SLO Business Center o 1st Saturday turnout low, which is consistent with past. o 10U Build Out Line implementation not as complicated as was feared. Equipment: Brad Dolezal o Will bring Keeper Jerseys and Pennies for next weekend o Keeper Gloves & Pennies are want by coaches, Board discussed purchasing. No decision was made. o Will distribute First Aid Kits, Kits are late because were pulled by AYSO since out of date. o David Marshall has All Star Goals in his garage. Regional Commissioner’s Report – Heather Billing o PCA Workshops – Low Coach and Parent turnouts. Consider mandating attendance next year. o 6U put away at Hawthorne an issue. Goals and equipment not locked up. o 19U/16U Update o Coach Shirts should be delivered 3rd weekend – 9/30 o Need to develop EOS Schedule o Meeting with City – Initial discussion of permanent 10U goals and equipment storage shed. No soap in bathrooms, re-bar for use in banners since damages irrigation system, no dogs, new turf is hardier but may start rolling as matts develop. o Website – still a work in progress o Need to submit 2018 SNT application to AYSO with Tina Self Adjournment @ 8:30PM
