SPRING SEASON SPORTS The spring season can be very hectic when it comes to weather related cancellations. Often times, events are postponed at the very last minute or locations of activities are changed only hours before beginning. Getting the message out to the participants, coaches and fans is not always easy to accomplish, but here is the best way to find out if and where scheduled games will take place:
Log on to Lake Geneva Schools/Badger High School/Badger Athletics OR log on to www.southernlakesconference.org.
ACTIVITY GUIDE GUIDE— —USER GUIDE FOR PARENTS Badger uses the Activity Scheduler as our School Calendar. Because it is web-based, we can provide you instant access to the most up-to-date information. You can push schedules to your phone, tablet, or computer and they will automatically update with any changes. You can also sign up for instant notifications and reminders, via email or text message .
Open the attached Activity Guide file for more information. Call Badger High School (348-2000); select the “Activities” line “2” and then the “Sports” announcements “1”. The message will be updated if there is a cancellation. The best time to call would be after 2 p.m. While many calls have to be made in the event of cancellations, it is best that fans use the automated line rather than calling the Athletic or Main Office directly.
Student athletes. Students are generally informed of cancellations by school-wide announcements; and if they know their parents were planning to attend, they should call them after school.
