BBC Meeting Minutes June 12, 2017 Attendance: Tim Dahl, Ron Spier, Traci Pederson, Brad Johnson, Annette Peterson, Rodney Bluiett, Jake Lindquist, Molly Pool, Andy Willman, Josh Ortmann, Brian Ewer, Sam Sansevere, Mary Sansevere, Rebecca Gravening, Krystin Willman Approval of May Minutes: Ron made a motion to approve the May minutes; Rodney seconded; motion carries Treasurer’s Report Jake provided May reports. Rodney made a motion to approve May treasurer’s report, Andy seconded; motion carries. Coach Ortmann’s Report ➔ Morning summer camp has started – full gym Buffalo Bison Cheer Team members ➔ A group of four members came to talk with BBC. They’d like to bring sideline cheer back to the court – came to us for support in helping with donations to get the program up and going again. Money donations would go towards uniforms so those on sideline team wouldn’t have to pay for their own. In turn, the Bison Cheer team would help with bringing spirit and fun to the crowd. ➔ They’re looking to raise $5000 between BBC and Football Boosters (boys home games) ➔ BBC to discuss a donation amount during a closed session and will get back to program Old Business ➔ Molly is still collecting equipment from a few coaches ➔ Andy’s been looking into different ideas for upcoming tryouts, nothing set yet ➔ Programs – Brad and Molly to look in to prices and come up with a plan – do we continue on the same path or move to another look? Need to know by next mtg. ➔ $825 to complete with putting numbers on the tryout jerseys (150 jerseys). Discussion is tabled until Annette and Jason Sorenson are able to work towards a better price on this. New Business ➔ Insurance renewal to stay with current insurance company ➔ Molly to work on tournament flyers and Ron to send to MYAS for the books Rodney motioned to adjourn the meeting; Traci seconded - 8:13 p.m. We continue to encourage everyone to attend our monthly meetings held the 2nd Monday of every month at the Buffalo Airport, 7 p.m.
