God’s Promise Through the Prophets Both Isaiah and Micah were prophets. Each one told messages from God to the people. Isaiah and Micah told about God’s promise to send a Savior. Micah said that the Savior would come from Bethlehem. Isaiah said that the Savior would be born and would be called Immanuel, which means “God with us.” He said the child also would be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal
