Fall News Fall update from the Athletic Director, Bo Kuntz... Cross Country The girls tied for 1st place at the Cloverleaf Invitational September 22nd. Varsity Girls Tennis Record currently at 12-3 Varsity Boys Soccer Record currently at 2-6-2 Varsity Girls Soccer Record currently at 2-4-3 Varsity Volleyball Record currently at 13-2 They are ranked 8th in the State Varsity Football Currently 5-0 They are ranked #4 in Region #1 in Div 1 Nov 17th - Football is hosting the “Stuff the Bus” event
“Volley for the Cure™ was started by two friends in 2006 to bring awareness to breast cancer. A Volley for the Cure™ match is a regular season high school volleyball match that is designated as an awareness and fundraising match. The goal is to pack the stands with Pink! Players, coaches, parents and schools are encouraged to get involved! Fundraising generated through a Volley for the Cure™ event will be donated to the local Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Affiliate.” WHEN: Thursday, October 4, 2012 WHERE: NRHS Cafeteria 1 for raffles, prizes, festivities. Games begin @ 5:30pm COST: *$4.00—students pre-sale Adults: *$6.00 *Anyone wearing a Volley for the Cure tee-shirt will get in free of charge. Tee shirts are currently being sold at the High School Activities Office and are only $10. Visit: http://volleyforthecureohio.org/ for more information.

Night at the Races Several fundraising events are being planned for the 20122013 school year. With the loss of Nautica proceeds this year, the Boosters’ big fundraising event will be the 14th Annual Night at the Races. A flyer on the opposite page includes all details. Horses are currently for sale and are only $10! Reserve a table with friends and family for a fun-filled evening with other Booster members, coaches, city council members, and district staff members. We look forward to seeing you there! Volunteers are always needed. Please call Elaine Gatins for more details!
Gold Card If you have not had a chance to purchase your Gold Card this year, please stop down at the north entrance of Serpentini Stadium and look for the table marked “Gold Card”. The discounts offered through your purchase of the card include several community eateries. All proceeds benefit our student athletes in grade 7 through 12! And, it’s a deal at only $10! Purchase yours today!

Car Raffle All athletes have been asked to participate in the 2012-2013 Car Raffle. This year’s vehicle is a brand new 2013 Chevy Cruze. Each raffle ticket is only $5 and gives the buyer a chance to win a new car! This drawing will be held in February, 2013! Half of all proceeds benefit your student athlete’s team, and the other half of all proceeds benefit the Stadium fund.
