National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) Announces Attorney General Loretta Lynch as Keynote Speaker [INDIANAPOLIS] - The National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) today announced that Loretta E. Lynch, United States Attorney General, will serve as keynote speaker for the 39th Annual Training Conference and Exhibition - Opening Plenary Session on Monday, July 13, 2015. The Opening Plenary Session will start at 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. EDT. Attorney General Lynch will deliver remarks at 9:00 a.m. "On behalf of our NOBLE executive board, chapter members, and the hundreds of communities we serve, I want to welcome Attorney General Lynch to the upcoming Training Conference,” stated Dr. Cedric L. Alexander, NOBLE National President. “We thank Attorney General Lynch for her service to this country and for her leadership and support for law enforcement.” Loretta E. Lynch is the 83rd Attorney General of the United States. She recently served as United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York from 2010-2015 and from 1999-2001. As U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, Ms. Lynch oversaw federal prosecutions in Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Long Island. On November 8, 2014, President Barack Obama nominated her to succeed Eric Holder as Attorney General. On February 26, 2015, the Judiciary Committee of the United States Senate confirmed her appointment. On April 23, 2015, Ms. Lynch was confirmed by the U.S. Senate and sworn in as Attorney General on April 27, 2015 by Vice President Joe Biden. WHO:
