County Summer Internships available for college credit Chesterfield County invites interested applicants to apply for a 2016 summer in- ternship that will provide students with a unique opportunity to learn and expand their knowledge in how local government depart- ments and agencies operate. The program is a 10-week unpaid internship that will give students an opportunity to gain college credit and valuable work experience, all while being a part of serving a community. Through the internship program, students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience for a realistic preview of what it is like to work in local government.
