Camp Information
Chris Lamb Coaching History
Shocker head coach Chris Lamb will begin his 16th season at Wichita State in 2015. Lamb led the Shockers to the Missouri Valley Conference regular-season and tournament titles in 2013 and to the first Sweet 16 appearance in school history in 2012. He guided WSU to 21-win seasons in 2010 and 2011 and also earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament during both seasons. In 2009, he led the Shockers to a 26-7 record as the team advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. In 2008, he led the Shockers to their fourth MVC title and into the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The team finished 29-0 in the regular-season, the first undefeated regular-season in school history. For his efforts, he earned MVC Coach-of-the-Year honors. He led the Shockers to the MVC title in 2007 and to the second round of the NCAA Tournament and back-to-back MVC titles in 2004 and 2005 and earned MVC Coach-of-the-Year honors all three of those seasons. In 2004, he guided WSU to its first NCAA Tournament where the team won its first-ever tourney match. Lamb has coached 27 all-MVC players, five MVC Players-of-the-Year, two MVC Freshmen-of-the-Year, two MVC Liberos-of-the-Year and 28 academic all-conference athletes at Wichita State in his 15 seasons.
Camp Staff
The staff will include Wichita State staff as well as high level club and high school coaches and current and former Wichita State volleyball players.

Meals, Housing, and Parking
Meals are provided for resident campers and lunch will be provided for campers in the 4-8 grade All-Skills Camp. Resident campers will be housed in Shocker Hall on the WSU campus, right next to Charles Koch Arena. Visitor parking can be obtained from the campus police department, (316) 978-5530.

Upon acceptance to your session, please confirm your arrival and departure times with us by phone or by e-mail as soon as possible. We will schedule pick-up and drop-off times from the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport.
Registration Procedure
1. Completely fill out the registration/medical release form in this brochure. (No applications will be processed if incomplete) 2. Check each session to be attended 3. Send to Chris Lamb Volleyball Camp, 1845 Fairmount, Wichita, KS 67260-0018 4. Registration deadline (unless a camp session fills up before the deadline) for 4-8 grade camps is July 2 and deadline for 8-12 grade commuter camp is July 16 and July 20 for the elite skills commuter camp and July 13 for the Intermediate/Advanced Skill Development and Elite Skills resident camp is July 13. Team camp deadline is July 2. 5. Refund Policy: Chris Lamp Volleyball Camp requires the following refund policy to be implemented for all camps, clinics, and events. Should a camper leave the camp due to illness or injury, the camp fee is nonrefundable. If the camp fee has been paid in full and a camper requests to be withdrawn 14 days or more before the start of camp, you will receive a full refund minus online registration administrative fees. No refunds will be issued within 14 days prior to the first day of camp. 6. Check in for each camp is at the southside main entrance of Charles Koch Arena. 7. Early dorm arrivals and late departures from camp: 1 night + Meals = $60

8-12 Grade Camps Intermediate/Advanced Skill Development This camp is designed to give each camper an EXTREME amount of technical training. It will combine all of our specialty camps into one camp. We will train Passing & Defense, Setting, Hitting, Blocking and Serving. This camp is available for commuter and overnight campers. Players really improve in this camp, no matter the age or experience level! Head Coach Chris Lamb will be conducting each session and working closely with each camper.

* Resident campers attending multiple camps will be provided lunch in between the WSU Elite Camp and Intermediate/Advanced Skill Development Camp. You will not need to check-in again for the next camp. Elite Skills The Elite Skills Camp is a very exciting camp filled with competitive play. The camp will focus on the development of serving, passing, setting, hitting, defense and blocking through competitive drills and continuous play in game like situations.
