Rob Edmisson completes his fifth year as the head coach of the Griffons. In 2016, the Griffons set a program record with 26 regular season wins, a MIAA record with 20 conference wins, won the programs first MIAA regular season championship since 2002, and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2005. During his stint at Oklahoma City University, Edmisson led the Stars to the 2012 National Championship, five conference titles and seven NAIA Division I tournaments in seven seasons. Edmission’s overall coaching record in 26 years on all levels is 582-194. He has coached 11 AllAmericans, 44 All-Conference Players, 3 SAC Player of the Year honorees and 1 MIAA Player of the Year honoree. Edmisson also mentored WNBA Draftee Mariam Sy and 6 others who went on to play professionally.

Griffon Basketball Camp For girls grades 3 through 8, this camp is designed to help younger players develop the proper skills at an early age. A typical camp day includes station drills (a twelve to player coach ration in order to ensure individual attention), a different individual contest each day (ie free throw, speed dribble, hotshot etc) along with game competition. We start with 3 on 3, which gradually progresses to 5 on 5. All games and competitions are divided by age groups. For an up and coming player this is a camp you do not want to miss!
