CANADA Yukon Territory M o u n t Logan and M o u n t K ennedy. Climbing activity in K luane N ational P ark was again up this year. We had 30 groups m ade up of 158 people spending a total of 3693 man-days in the park. Five parties climbed the K ing Trench route of M ount Logan successfully: Canadians D ave W ood, Thom as Pulaski, Rick H um , Dave King, A rt Burrows and Paul P arker; Canadians Siegfried Noestaller, W alter Burns, D om inic N iehaus and Reinhold Plankensteiner; Canadians M artyn Williams, H ec­ tor M cKenzie, Bob Jickling, John Solem, G ordon Blanz, Russel Patrick and M ike Beedel; Swiss K urt Hegglin, F ranz Stocker, H ans Studer, HansBeat Süss and H ans Renggli; and Canadians Roland Reader, P eter Mix,

A m ericans F ranz M ohling, Paul O ‘Sullivan, Jim Bock, Sarah Chaney, Chuck Huss and Tom M asterson successfully climbed the Centennial Ridge of M ount Logan but did not go on to the summit.
