Operations Report (Chris Worthley):  Josh Sanderson – Happy and signed 3-year contract. Taking on DOC responsibilities.  Contracts done for all coaches with most signed at time of meeting. Still recruiting new coaches.  Academy & Dynos: o 9/10 – James & Bob with 30 boys/30 girls. o 7/8 – 24 kids Harry and Noel to coach under Josh o Dynos – 70 kids w/no plan as of meeting date.  CVSC Recreational Report: o 172 teams set for spring season o 175 teams competing in this fall season (with 4 U19) o Kids still on waiting lists for teams o Schedule will be done at least a week before season starts.  DOC Search: o Monday, August 31st the ads will be dropped. o With a couple of new resumes coming in right before deadline. o 3-4 viable candidates are available from the group that has applied.

Cedar Valley Soccer Club Complex Setup:  DONE!! Great Day of help from the community.  Discussed the need to have volunteer coordinator to help Randy with volunteers. o In the latter part of September set a meeting with Randy & Complex Director, Bryan Foster, Jenny Garcia, Bryan Ernest, & Chris Worthley to discuss organizational chart and roles of staff and volunteers. o Part of this meeting would also work to implement a manual of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the complex.  Parking Lot at the Complex: o Discovered that the crack is in worse shape the originally believed. o Whole parking lot needs to be sealed, not just where the main issues are. o Quotes from Pate Construction and Doug Schindel. o As part of this discussion was setting an annual meeting with the complex committee to discuss capital improvements at the complex.  Policy of Playability at the Complex: o Randy & Chris make the call regarding whether or not to play games after rain events. With Chris’s added involvement to the decision making process this has worked well. o Discussion of Festive games that were cancelled due to rain event the previous weekend. o What goes into the decision making process:  Playing on fields that are too wet could have damaged the fields to the point of spending more to repair them  Safety concerns w/kids playing on soggy fields Financial Update (Kristi Wagner):  Lincoln Savings Bank Proposal o This would put all the accounts in one place for easy access, all under one umbrella for the club. o This is part of a new non-profit program that LSB is offering o Teams would have access to their own accounts with online access for managers. Plus a free scanner to make deposits.  Jim Cook motion to approve banking relationship to LSB with annual review or relationship.  2nd Jenny Garcia  8 – Aye  1 – Abstention – Jason Koch New Business (Open): o Winter registration discussion

Cedar Valley Soccer Club  Discuss indoor program at next board meeting o Creating an online store  Spirit wear is online now at soccer.com  Discussion to make it more available and let more people know about it. o Referees:  Discussion on how to encourage more youth to become certified referees.  Offer food coupons for multiple games refereed a day for the rec season.  Pay for re-registration after 20 games worked in rec.  Start a mentoring program for youth referees.
