Central Area Livestock Show February 1-3, 2018 Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center Shawnee, OK Entry: $30 – Heifers & Steers $20 – Lambs, Does, Wether Goats, Barrows, Market Hogs Late Entry: $10 assessed on all entries not received by January 26. Cash only on site! Participants: All exhibitors must be 8-18 years old and 4-H or FFA members in good standing in the Ag-Ed Central Area. Exhibitors who are 8 years old by September 1, enrolled in the 3rd grade and enrolled in 4-H are eligible to participate. Anyone in violation of this rule will be immediately disqualified and participation in future shows will be reviewed by the CALS Committee. Pen & Stall Assignments: Made as entries are received. Hog pens on concrete. Shavings $7.00/bag. Liability: The Central Area Livestock Show Management and The Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury to person or property. No protests allowed. Food from Parent/Booster Groups NOT ALLOWED inside barns. No outside shavings. Market Lamb Show: Judge – Chance Neff – San Angelo, TX  Wether lambs and ewe lambs will show together. All ewe lambs must have scrapie tag.  No weight limit, 5 pound weigh back over card.  Recognized breeds: Hair Sheep, Southdown, Dorset, Shropshire, Speckle-faced, Hampshire, Natural Colored, Suffolk and Crossbreds. Doe Show: Judge – Miles Toenyes – Highland, IL  Will show by weight, 5 pound weigh back over card. No weight limit. All does must have scrapie tag. Wether Goat Show: Judge – Miles Toenyes – Highland, IL  Will show by weight, 5 pound weigh back over card. No weight limit. Barrow Show: Judge – Eric Brunton – Victor, IA  Weight Limit: 280 pounds. 10 pound weigh back over card. Must be 3 head to make a breed.  Negative Pseudo/Brucellosis Test and Premise I.D. Required. Market Hog Show: Judge – Brant Smith – Sycamore, IL  Barrows & Gilts show together. Must be 3 head to make a breed.  Weight Limit: 280 pounds. 10 pound weigh back over card.  Negative Pseudo/Brucellosis Test and Premise I.D. Required. Heifer Show: Judge – Matt Leo - Merced, CA  Registered heifers will show by age. Exhibitor must be recorded as sole owner on registration papers. Heifer entries must have calved after January 1, 2016.  Must be 3 head present to make a breed or will show as Continental, Exotic or Brahman Influence AOB.  Commercial heifers will show by weight.  Blow & Show – No Adhesive Prospect & Market Steer Show: Judge – Matt Leo - Merced, CA  Prospect Steers must weigh 900 lbs. or less. 5% allowed for fill.  Market Steers must weigh 901 and above. 5% allowed for fill.  Must be 3 head present to make a breed or will show as Continental, Exotic or Brahman Influence AOB.  Blow & Show – No Adhesive
