Signature Cake Assemble and Step by Step Decorating Instructions
To build your Cinderella Doll Signature Cake you will need: - Depending on the height of your cake layers, you will need 3, 4 or 5 - 8" Round Cake Layers - 1-10" Round Cake board.
1. S tack cake layers with icing or filling between layers. Measure Disney Princess Doll at the side of stacked cake. The top layer should end at her hips. Add a layer if needed.
2. I nsert Disney Princess Doll into stacked cakes. Do not remove the plastic covering her legs and skirt. Trim top layer to taper and form a bell shaped bottom.
3. Ice cake with blue that matches bodice.
4. Using a spatula, start at the base of the dress and smooth upward to create pleats.
Tip: A fter trimming layers, use gloved hands to firmly press cake crumbs into cake layers to eliminate crumbs from merging into icing.
5.Using tip #895, pipe light blue band at base of cake.
6. Using tip #127, pipe light blue ruffles around sides and back of cake as shown.
9. Using tip #2, pipe light blue details on skirt as shown.
7. Using tip #805, pipe light blue peplum.
8. Using tip #103, pipe light blue band at waist. Using tip #104, pipe dark blue edges on skirt.
