Missionary Margaret Farnsworth Dec. 2 8:30 & 10:30 a.m. Margaret Farnsworth, a missionary with World Gospel Mission and the Mission Society will be speaking here on Sunday, December 2, at 8:30 & 10:30 am during the morning worship services. She has been serving in Kazakhstan and is now on furlough and will be going to Kenya to serve there on her next assignment. We have been supporting her for a number of years.

God’s Gift We stop this time of the year to recognize the gift that God gave to us, Jesus! Sometimes the gifts we receive are not appreciated. This month I have had two close family members to die. I preached my Uncle James’ funeral service on Nov. 11. I recognized the gifts he shared with us as family as he sang in church whenever he was at Glendale UMC on vacation. After the service we sat around tables eating and sharing stories. I sat at the table with one of my cousins not even thinking that in just 2 weeks she would suddenly die. May we take the time to know and love Jesus, God’s Gift.
