You will create three different projects and learn the skills to become confident with your machine and as a sewer. Let’s get sewing!

We are here to help and give you the time you need to stitch. We will have our cutting station, iron, and design wall available for your use. If you need a little guidance or want to try a new skill, this is a great chance to get some coaching. Limited space available, register early.
Quilt Studio $65 Thursdays, March 8th, April 12th, May 10th, June 14th 6-9pm (4 sessions) You have asked for it and now here it is! Gain the skills you need to make your piecing and quilting projects shine. Each month we will tackle a different topic as requested by you. Join us as we explore the tips and tricks known by some of the best quilters and use your machine to get more projects done. This is a learning hands-on class so be ready to practice and get your machine moving. Bring your own projects and learn accurate piecing, pressing, cutting, adding borders, bindings and more! Beginning quilters welcome to attend.
‘Sewing for Others’ Workshop Free Wednesday, Jan. 31st 10:30am-4:30pm Wednesday, March 28th 10:30am-4:30pm Giving back to our community is an important part of what we do. Please join us as we plan a great day of sewing to help those that need a hand up. This event is free to attend but pre-registration is requied. Be sure to call to reserve your spot. Hey Quilters!!! We need your donations of time and materials!!!! There are several projects that can be checked out, completed at home and returned to the shop. Material donations are also accepted anytime. We look for 100% cotton or flannel fabric in fun or bright colors, tonal or novelty prints in sizes 6” or larger. Also, minkey, cuddle, or fleece in 1½yd cuts or larger.
Fleece Cat or Dog Bed by guest instructor Lara Neel $45 Saturday, Jan. 27th 10:30am – 3:30pm If you haven’t loved working with knits in the past, fleece is a great way to stretch your skills past quilting cotton! We will cover tips and tricks to make fleece easy to use. The fleece cover on the bed is removable, so you can wash your pet’s bed as often as needed. You will also be sewing a custom, zippered insert for a large round cushion/bed with cute and cuddly ears. Patterns for both the cat and dog version of the bed are included in the price of the class.
Clear Vinyl Tote by guest instructor Lara Neel $30 Tuesday, Feb. 20th 6:00pm – 9:00pm See how easy it is to make a see-through vinyl tote! They’re perfect for high-security events, but also fun for everyday use. You should test your machine to see that thickness of vinyl works best with it before class. The pattern and instructions for the tote are included in the price of the class.
Mini Messenger Bag by guest instructor Lara Neel $45 Thursdays, March 22nd and March 29th 6:00pm – 9:00pm (2 sessions) This cute purse is a tiny messenger bag, and there is a zipper in the lining, so you can zip it up to make It more secure when needed. We will learn how to work with relatively heavy canvas to make a bag that’s sturdy and complete with an adjustable strap, for comfort. The pattern is included in the price of the class.
Intermediate Garment Series – The Big “Boyfriend” Shirt $65 Tuesdays, March 6th, March 20th, April 3rd and April 17th 6:00pm – 9:00pm (4 sessions) While making this big, long, comfy “boyfriend” shirt you will learn to put in sleeves, make cuffs, buttons and buttonholes, make a tailored collar, perfect edge stitching and topstitching skills, select the best seam finish for your project plus many more tips to create a professionally made shirt. This shirt can be made using one fabric or make a custom design mixing several fabrics. This class is geared for those who know some basics of sewing and are comfortable using their machine.
Elizabeth Hartman Quilt Pattern Studio $50 Wednesdays, Jan. 17th, Feb. 21st, March 14th 10:30am – 1:30pm (3 sessions) Have you admired the delightful Elizabeth Hartman patterns like Fancy Forest, Delightful Desert, Lloyd & Lola Llama or any of her many other patterns? Perhaps you’ve even purchased a pattern or two and haven’t started. Here’s your chance to start sewing. Hours of uninterrupted time to sew. All blocks are sewn with simple straight and diagonal seams. No templates or paper piecing! Bring your project of choice and get assistance to get it done.

Identify included accessories, discuss machine maintenance and practice techniques on all PFAFF sewing machines.
PFAFF Owner’s – My Machine Class 2 (Decorative Sewing) Tuesday, Jan. 23th 1-4pm Tuesday, March 13th 6-9pm All computerized machines will be included in this class. Learn gathering, satin stitch applique, tapering, programming, tie-off options, memory capabilities, sequencing, free-motion sewing and more.
PFAFF Owner’s – My Machine Class 3 (Embroidery Basics) Thursday, Feb. 22nd 6-9pm All computerized embroidery machines will be included in this class. Learn types of needles, hooping fabric, selecting hoop size, adjusting and resizing an embroidery design, creating a combination and much more.
PFAFF Owner’s – My Machine Class 4 (Advanced Embroidery & Connectivity) Tuesday, March 27th 6-9pm All computerized embroidery machines will be included in this class. In this class we will explore deeper into the features of your machine and work with transferring, saving, and interfacing with your computer. We will also work on precise positioning, moving designs in the hoop, and the shape creator feature.
PFAFF Owner’s – My Machine Class 5 (Software with PC) Thursday, January 25th 6-9pm Take your embroidery designs to new heights. Whether you’re a beginner and have not yet installed it or you want to learn more about how to use it, this class is for you. Embroidery software makes it possible for you to create, edit, resize and do more with your embroidery designs. Bring your laptop with the software installed and ready to learn. This is a hands on class where we will explore many of the basic features. There will be time for questions so please bring yours. If you need assistance installing your software please call and schedule a time prior to class.
