Fall/Winter Class Schedule Fall Rag Quilt Check out Thimble Towne’s twist on a traditional rag quilt. Grab your embroidery machine to make this traditional project pop with the addition of simple quilted falling leaves. If you don’t have an embroidery machine, you can still complete this project with your sewing machine. In addition students will be able to take advantage of Thimble Towne’s rag quilt cutter to do all the cutting for you. When you sew your last seam your quilt is DONE! Freeform Flying Geese – Technique Class In this class you will learn how to make curved flying geese that can be used in many quilts. You may already know how to make traditional flying geese, however this class will teach you the art of making freeform flying geese. Using Gail Garber’s book, Flying Colors, Juanita will walk you through the process of constructing these freeform flying geese. This is a technique class and you will be making a piece only. Adult Sewing Camp Join us for Thimble Towne’s first ever Adult Sewing Camp. There has been a need for SEWING classes in the community. We are extremely pleased to add Marla Dike to our group of knowledgeable teachers. Marla is a Licensed Sewing instructor through the Martha Pullen School of Sewing. During this two day adult sewing camp, you will complete four projects while learning the basic sewing skills, including inserting zippers, to begin your sewing adventure. Christmas Stocking Workshop with Cindy Seitz-Krug Fun Fillers & Background Stitches Award winning machine quilter Cindy Seitz-Krug is back at Thimble Towne to teach a Christmas Stocking Workshop. This one day workshop will cover 8 different free motion background stitches. After class you will turn your project into a beautiful Christmas stocking. These stockings are so beautiful you will want to make one for every member of your family. Mariners Compass Class After our successful Vintage Moments Quilt with Anna Koelewyn, she has come up with a stunning new quilt. Anna’s new Mariners Compass quilt is stunning.
