World Fair by Kim Zawilski It was wonderful to see so many of you at our World Fair last week. Students and parents alike shared that this was the best and most comprehensive World Fair ever! Students started their adventure by stopping by our passport stations, eager to pick up their Passport Bingo Cards with the hope of getting their entire Passport “stamped” by visiting each and every classroom on both the Upper and Lower Campuses. Whether students paid a visit to a specific country, an entire continent, the classroom honoring the 100th Birthday of our National Parks, or the Middle School’s Renaissance Period, they were delighted by the plethora of information, the fun crafts and art displays, and the cultural food samples. It was also delightful to witness how many students could provide small facts about each classroom’s area of study in order to earn their passport stamps. We are also thrilled to report that we raised over $600 at our Passport Stations to support the education of girls in The Gambia, West Africa. For $150, we can provide a young girl with education for a year, including her school uniform and her school supplies. For the last 12 years, we have been supporting the education of 8 girls per year and are excited to know that we have now raised the funds to help the Cedar Class sponsor these 8 girls for yet another year! Please enjoy a small sampling of some of the photos taken at the event and feel free to share yours with us at
