Coginchaug Little League Board Meeting April 11, 2017
Attendees: Stephanie Berry, Rick Mach, Steve DeMartino, Scott Strang, Chris Meisenkothen, John Leonard, Andy Kleczkowski, Maygan Salzano, Rick Quirk
Field plan: Atwell, Herzog, JV – roll outfield, no infield material needed o Catania will have material delivered next week, will have Durham done by end of week. Peckham will be done the following week. o Bob Grant will distribute stone dust in Durham. We will need volunteers to help rake. o Stone dust will also be delivered to Peckham. o Quotes received for grass cutting. Quality Landscaping selected. Noted that irrigation may lead to more frequent mowing. Scholarships – seven applications received. Scholarship committee will select recipients this week. Sponsorships – waiting on some signs, working to collect some outstanding funds. Fall sponsorship slots are all almost filled. Fundraising – web site updated, new CLL items available for purchase. Schedules – working on 50/70. 14 games so far, looking for four more. Majors is complete. Minors in progress – some TBDs need to be finalized. Farm – we have four teams so we will play in house only. Schedule to be uploaded. Minors softball should be done.
