Jeremy – will need to put the approval of the Treasurer’s report on hold until the next meeting since Amy is not here. b. Jeremy – did show print out reflecting balance of $35,622.28 c. Dean - needs to go to the bank d. Gary – estimate for equipment is approximately $12,000. Approve Minutes – a. Motion to vote in all nominated coaches by Jeremy / seconded by Vicky / unanimously approved. VI. Opening Day a. Ceremony i. Logistics 1. Ceremony starts at 10am. 2. Make sure flag is hung this year 3. Haley Powers will sing the national anthem 4. Scott will read letter from Tom Chope 5. Jayden Churchill will throw out the first pitch 6. Invite Domenic Borelli to speak on opening day and present plaque to League (Will need to hang plaque after). 7. Introduce the Board of Directors 8. First game will start within 15 minutes of end of ceremony 9. Minors will start playing 4/22 VII. Watson Field – First Baseline fencing approval a. Motion by Jeremy to purchase additional netting for the 1st baseline / seconded by Scott / unanimously approved. i. Need to do an additional cut out for base coaches and do the baseline. 1. May have him put down the same day 2. There are dips in the field and shortstop needs to be fixed VIII. Player pool a. Attached and made part of the April 3, 2017 minutes is a Player Pool handout that outlines the rules that should be followed by all the leagues that interleague with FLL this season. i. Following the Green Book ii. Set up player pool for AA also – need to make a list (mandatory 2 innings) IX. AAA Interleague Rules a. Attached and made part of the April 3, 2017 minutes is a AAA Interleague Rules handout that outlines any rules that have been changed and all rules outlined on this should be followed by all the leagues that interleague with FLL this season. i. Scott – suggest that all managers keep this with their clip board for quick reference in case issues / disagreements arise X. Uniforms a. Being purchased through Pro-time b. All gear bags will be ready for Managers meeting on 4/8/17 c. Dicks is no longer providing gear bags

Forestville Little League (FLL) Monthly Board Meeting April 3, 2017 – 6:30 p.m Shack i. See if Yarde Metal will give a $500 donation toward the purchase of the bags – if so we could have Yarde Metal stitched onto the bag. 1. Scott will make a couple of calls XI.
Fields a. Jeremy has requested the softball field two days a week. b. Still waiting on permits c. Majors and AAA have been loaded into system XII. Shack update a. Jeremy approved $150 purchase of a popcorn machine b. New Freezer purchase was approved up to $700, League paid $540 for the new freezer. c. Cleanup in the shack stared on Saturday (4/1/17) d. Need person/company that takes care of the hood to come out to clean and inspect it e. Eric Westfall needs to re-season the grill and change out the oil in the fryer f. Shack will open and serve snacks and drinks until opening day g. People that are scheduled to open or close need to stay and make sure that the volunteers are acclimated and comfortable. h. Jeremy – planning to change the lock on the shack door to a digipass keypad instead of a key cost is $180. XIII. Field Clean up a. Saturday 4/8/17 b. Manager’s Meeting on 4/8/17 – time changed from 9am to 11am. XIV. Division Rosters a. Managers make sure that players are where they need to be. XV. New Items a. Jeremy i. Big Al’s has training packets for coaches. Cost is $400 for 30 licenses. Only coaches that went to the training clinic were Jeremy and Drew. Board agreed this would be an excellent investment and training resource – especially for new coaches. ii. 50/70 Field – 1. Farmington is interested in setting up a scramble on Sundays after the season starts. 2. This will be a good way to introduce the field and get the word out there. iii. Diamond Kings 1. Jeremy – in exchange for allowing Diamond Kings to use our fields when they are not scheduled for our use – they will do clinics for us. b. Scott – i. High School volunteers/players to be umpires 1.
