character provided by STN. Entries must be produced in 8 hours or less. The maximum running time is 5 minutes. Teams may have unlimited members and advisers may participate in the creation of an entry. Teams may go anywhere in the San Diego area to produce an entry, there are no boundaries. 100% of all video footage contained in an entry must be shot during the contest period. Animations, slowmotion, chroma key and any other effects produced during the contest period may be used in an entry. Royalty free or original music may be used in an entry. Films should refrain from topics considered inappropriate for young viewers. Entries that use gratuitous sex, drugs or violence will be penalized at the judge’s discretion.
The judges will be looking for sitcoms that make a strong connection to the title. Films should get the viewer's attention and keep it. Teams meet in the morning for the contest briefing and receive the TV sitcom title and main character description. After the briefing teams are given 8 hours to plan and produce a TV sitcom pilot based on the title and main character description provided by STN.

Judging Criteria
Please name your entry using your contest ID found on your pouch . Teams must provide their own flashdrive for submitting an entry. Label your flashdrive with your contest ID#. Place the flashdrive into the pouch and return it to the designated area by the 4pm deadline. No entries will be accepted past the deadline, no exceptions.
