Rules & Regulations
Judging Criteria
1. 2. 3. 4.
Entries must follow the given topic. Entries must be produced in 8 hours or less. The maximum running time is 8 minutes . Teams may have unlimited members and advisers may participate in the creation of an entry. 5. Teams may go anywhere in the San Diego area to produce an entry, there are no boundaries. 6. Teams may use their regular open/intro that was previously produced. 7. Teams may use their own previously produced lower thirds, logos and graphics.

Teams meet in the morning for the contest briefing and receive the topic. After the briefing teams are given 8 hours to produce an entire news broadcast based on the topic. All stories should reflect the given topic.

Please name your Quicktime movie using your contest ID found on your pouch . Teams must provide their own flashdrive for submitting an entry. Label your flashdrive with your contest ID#. Place the flashdrive into the packet and return it to the designated area before the 4pm deadline. No entries will be accepted past the deadline, no exceptions. Winners will be announced at the STN Closing Ceremony
