Judging Criteria

1. Entries must follow the given topic. 2. Entries must be produced in 8 hours or less. 3. The total running time for all broadcast segments combined is 8 minutes . 4. Teams may have unlimited members and advisers may participate in the creation of an entry. 5. Teams may go anywhere in the San Diego area to produce an entry, there are no boundaries. 6. Teams may use their own previously produced lower thirds, logos and graphics.

Teams meet in the morning for the contest briefing and receive the topic. Teams will then be issued login credentials for a blank US Education TV website. After the briefing teams are given 8 hours to create an entire multimedia website based on the topic. All stories should reflect the given topic. Entries should incorporate broadcast and online print elements into their US Ed website.

Teams will be locked out of editing their website at the deadline time. No edits will be permitted after deadline. Winners will be announced at the STN Closing Ceremony
