DASC Executive Board Meeting Minutes October 15, 2012
Board Members in Attendance: Stewart B, Jen B, Jodi M, Dale L, Jim B, Tom I, Chris M, Tina T, Avan E. and Mike F (staff). Guests in attendance: Jim Maclay Meeting called to order at 8:15 p.m.. Tournament Director’s Report DDSO Tournament wrap-up. Report distributed and presented by Mike F. A total of 269 teams participated Eliminating the 11 v 11 format in the U11 age group Tiered rates for age groups Charging more for pre-ordered t-shirts (we sold 986 pre-sale) Shootout banquet will be held at Range End on Wed. 10/24, from 7-9:30, RSVP by 10/17 Shamrock Shootout Mike is willing to take in charge and team up with Jodi M to discuss more details Treasurer’s Report Monthly income and expense report distributed Fields Equipment shed, including situation with tax assessment Motion was made and seconded that we will withdraw the hearing, pay the bill and Tom will contact York County to see what the outcome would be. Electric is in and inspection needed to make sure we comply with all the regulations. Need contact person(s) for any emergency situations. Small room with heater needed for paint storage yet. New Ponderosa shed Location needs selected and further discussion with John Ross on specifics.

New trailer Email vote will be sent by Stewart B. once one is selected. Broken goal at Logan Welded, needs assembled by Eric S.
Goalkeeper Training Summer Camp Avan suggested having goalkeeper training. It will be paid by parents. Training will be provided by professional goalies from Shippensburg. Stewart will contact UK to avoid any conflicts, more details to come.
Advancing better players in the U8 program (U6 to U8) Avan suggested to move advance U6 player(s) to U8. Need to explore some options. Nomination Committee Positions open for re-election this year are as follows: 1.) President 2.) Secretary 3.) Registrar for boys 4.) Skill Assessment/Training Coordinator 5.) U8 Coordinator 6.) Equipment Manager 7.) Public Relations 8.) (1) U9 Member at Large. Anyone interested in any positions listed above, need to contact Keith M.
Coaches Rep New developmental U9 teams for spring Jenn recommended to invite players to try out for the U9 developmental teams for spring on Thurs, 11/1 at Franklin township park from 5-5:45 p.m. . UK would perform this assessment free of charge and by doing so, would save time and money for parents and the club. Jenn would put a flyer together to inform players and parents. Avan to advise how many copies are needed. Mike will post to the website as well. U13 Boys Cavalry Concerns were brought and addressed for a U13 player. The parents are directed to the “Rules and Bylaws” on DASC website as the decision was made accordingly.

U12 Girls Pride-FC Concerns were brought and addressed for both U12 and U14 teams. Email vote will be sent out by Stewart B. and special meeting is called to handle the U12 issues.
