Upcoming/Ongoing Events: Highlighted Event: Green Infrastructure for Stormwater Management Workshop: Monday, December 8, 2014: 9 am 2:30 pm; optional tour 2:30 3:45 pm. Student Union Building, Room 6263 (lower level), SUNY New Paltz. Certificates of attendance for 4 hours of municipal training credit will be provided. This webinar will begin with an overview of the LED streetlight conversion strategies and techniques being used by a variety of local governments throughout the region. We will then hear from two Climate Smart Communities, Dobbs Ferry and the City of Yonkers, about their conversion experience and resulting benefits and savings. Environmental Notice Bulletins Environmental Notice Bulletins include SEQR and related notices, SPDES renewals, and completed DEC applications, as well as other related environmental notices for the county of Dutchess. SPDES (State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) receives applications to renew permits for SPDES. Under SPDES, the DEC can control wastewater and stormwater discharges in compliance with the Clean Water Act.

Class 4 means that the site no longer presents a significant consider forwarding to a friend by threat to public health and/or the environment. The notice explains why this determination was made.
