absent Still going through everything. The 12x12 is going to have an archives speaker on how the 12x12 got started. Randy is finding what we have in the archives about the 12x12. Was provided some contacts for people who’ve been involved in archives in the past who will have some good ideas. Lori (absent) is aware that the women have missed the past couple Wed nights Kathy reported. She did have people scheduled to attend and lead. Heard that women aren’t consistently showing up to lead the women’s AA meeting. Bill is the only guy currently chairing the men’s AA meeting at the Rock County Jail. Requested the softcover 12x12 books as the inmates want to work the steps. 12 guys currently attending the meeting and more threatening to start showing up too. Bill wants to get the list corrected of people who are willing to chair the corrections AA meetings. Will meet the new commander in charge of getting people cleared to chair meetings. Remember to have a Rainbow can available at your meeting to collect corrections literature funds/donations. Rainbow can funds are used within the district first and overflow funds are sent to Area 75. Bill is trying to convince the jail to order a Grapevine subscription. Old grapevine donations will be put to good use.

absent Groups have stepped up with donations and MAICO funds are back even with the pace of last year. Many individual donations helped greatly too! MAICO is searching for a new (cheaper) call center to man the hotline during off hours. Was able to get credit card processing costs cut in half. The picnic planning is going well and the only thing needed yet is massive attendance at the Aug 2nd picnic at Traxler Park in Janesville from 10am till 5pm with lunch at 1pm and speakers starting at 2pm. We’ve got a bar-b-que trailer

too! October 1st will be a literature price increase from GSO, so get your orders in soon as we believe the increase will be significant as GSO donations aren’t keeping up with expenses so literature sales have to pick up the slack. Some groups have committed to sending a certain $ to MAICO each month with helps them to budget better. Going very well. Lots of positive feedback from the counselors. Plenty of good speakers and getting a few new people signed up every month. A few groups are sending people up on the first and last Wed of the month. Contact Gary L if you’re interested in speaking!
