Updates Going well. Getting a steering committee together. Attendance great. 7 days a week at 7:30 am. More people getting involved.

Going good. A lot of newcomers. One step per month. Someone provides the lead. The rest of the month is discussion. Taking up a collection at the group and they are going to host one of the lunches at the campout this year.

Meetings are getting to a good size. Duncan is speaking at 7 pm the last Thursday of the month. Doing well. 25 men. Good meetings good discussion.

Young people’s Meeting is a group now. Tues big book study 3 to 14 people. Friday anywhere between 7 and 30, normally 20. Very serene meeting space.

Training/informational meeting at the jail. We had 4 women at training. 9 are trained to go in. Could still do more. Started doing Wednesdays again at 7 pm. So two meetings weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.

Updates

Funds going well. Tomorrow at Trinity is the spring workshop. There will be two panels. Middle session will be district 20 wants to a session on 9 volunteer sections they have. Summer is the picnic and then fall will be another workshop. There is no one from district 30 represented at Maico monthly meetings. Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Got books last month. Rainbow fund (separate fund made by several districts) covered half of the cost of our $247 towards books for treatment. Special Needs: Receive all special needs requests and assist. Maintain a contact list for foreign language, deaf, blind etc. Please take this back to your groups to generate interest.

Holding the campout meeting this Sunday at noon at the 12 and 12. Still looking for as much help as they can get. It would be nice to see new people. Currently checking a availability at the Salvation Army. Will have a committee meeting and have representation at May District meeting.

OLD BUSINESS

Printing of Schedules: Take schedules they are at District. Pete has printed a larger print schedule to have at clubs so they are easier to see. Pete has the original file. Sue has a pdf that will be emailed to everyone on the email list and for the website.

NEW BUSINESS

GSR Openings: Steps to Success, Unity Group Sue M: Serenity Campout: Campout is Labor Day. Completely new people running the campout. Railroad Jake is the new chair. Price has gone up considerably for the weekend from boy scouts. $30 per person for the whole weekend includes food. 11 cabins have access to all areas. 4 lodges. Whole new campout. Had over 20 members at the last meeting. If you want email updates give your email to Michelle. Activities at the campout include volley ball, euchre, cribbage, 50/50 raffle and auction. Books for Corrections: ½ case of Big Books and ½ case of 12 and 12’s was given to Women’s corrections two weeks ago. They are requesting another case. Discussion about how the books are being distributed. Unanimously approved to buy a case of big books to be split between men and women’s corrections. HOT LINE REPORT:

(1) Missed call. I tried calling back, but the # was no longer in service (1) Call mtg info for woman's boyfriend  

I called up Peter, R for re-load of 60 min on hotline phone, and he called back the next day with the info to put the minuites on the phone. I've had some minor trouble with reception in a few places here in Edgerton, but nothing major. The reception is good in my house. (-:
