Thursday, October 15, 2015 9:00 p.m. – 11:00 a.m. Conference Room B Central Offices Members in Attendance: Chris Clouet, Karen Crosby, Kathy Riddle, Ken Saranich, Eileen Roben, Dan DiVito, Vicky White, Tina Henckel, Lorraine Rossner, Mary-Beth Trafecante, Nancy Burns, Amy Yost, Freeman Burr Absent: Jen Rua, Beth Smith Agenda for DDT Meeting:
Norms – 10 min o Error corrected in Norms o The Team Norms were reviewed and adopted o Michele Piccolo will be invited to sit as a substitute team member until Jen Rua returns in January Roles – 10 min o Roles were reviewed – Victoria White will replace Tina Henckel as “Time Keeper” o Mission Statement reviewed, updated, and dated Review of NWEA and SRI Data – 40 min o NWEA presented a workshop for our district regarding how to read and interpret NWEA scores as related to student achievement and performance This is Shelton’s first year of using NWEA Math/Science in grades 3-11 for Math & Science Shelton will use the Mean and Standard Deviation when analyzing student outcomes Grade levels have different student goals and standards o Science follows the same structure as Math when recording out student achievement o This information will be imported into IC shortly for district use o The team also viewed SRI data available in IC Tableau How to find District Data Team Visualizations = IC – Data VIZ – District Data Team – then hunt for you information DIP Draft – Working Session – 60 min o The DIP Draft for 2015-16 was distributed for review and input o The draft DIP was used as a working document to fill out necessary data in order to create a final edition of the District Improvement Plan based on projected student growth using NWEA and SRI data
