Then beginning with Moses and all the prophets, He interpreted to them the things about Himself in all the scriptures. —Luke 24:27
Come Join Us for the Flowering of the Cross! Children of all ages are invited to participate in this annual event in the life of our church. They may bring their own fresh flowers and meet in the Fellowship Hall at 10:10 AM on Easter morning to proceed into the sanctuary. If you don’t have any flowers to bring, don’t worry about it. We will have plenty waiting for you. Parents or siblings are asked to walk with small children needing assistance, as they file down the left aisle to the cross at the front of the chancel area, to place their bundles into the wire frame covering the cross. Come celebrate the Risen Christ in this very special way!
Our church office will be closed Monday, April 6, 2015, in observance of the Easter Holiday. We will reopen promptly on Tuesday morning and resume our pleasure in serving the wonderful members and friends of FPC. Christ is risen! He is risen, indeed!

Across the congregation, members are Multiplying their Gifts to God’s Glory and in support of local missions, like Purpose of God Annex! If you haven't yet started, don’t worry. There’s plenty of time. Our first harvest will be in April with our final harvest scheduled for September. So keep those projects going!!!
Introducing our Newest Office Volunteers!
Little Liam Alligood and Harper Van Staalduinen joined us in the church office for an afternoon of serious theological debate and discussion, in between operating the copier and answering the phone. It never hurts to start them young!

Invited! Can you keep a secret? Well, Mother Jones from PURPOSE of GOD ANNEX sure hopes you can. She is planning a surprise 25 years in ministry celebration for her husband Bishop Samuel Jones on April 26th at 4:00 PM at the Temple of Jesus Christ Church, 906 W. 8th St. and YOU’RE INVITED!!! Don’t miss this opportunity to give thanks to God for this truly remarkable man and his service to our community. And remember, don’t let him know!
