Dear Parents /Guardians,
10/18 – Make-up Picture Day
Friday’s field trip to Fog Willow Farms was a terrific success. The day started out with a few sprinkles, honestly the children loved running around playing on the hay bales and playground even with a few sprinkles. By tour time the sprinkles had subsided and the adventure had begun. A little lamb needed gentle brushing, hay needed to be formed into bales, bees were observed, goats were fed, pigs and chickens studied, a pumpkin was chosen and of course a hayride was experienced. The Dolphins concluded the day with a picnic lunch before heading back to school. Following directions and writing directions is on the schedule for the week. We will practice this skill by using the fish tank, which we have begun to see signs of green, as a sample. Writing the directions on how to clean the fish tank as we clean the tank will help students catch all the steps that need to be included to obtain a sparkling fish tank. Do not forget to sign-up for Parent Teacher Conferences! Sincerely, Ms. Ann
