The school has moved from 46th in the Local Authority to 10th in 2015, for the Key Stage 2 result in maths, reading and writing combined for Year 6 children. 90% of children achieved a level 4 or higher in reading, writing and maths, and 29% achieved a level 5 in all 3 subjects. This is better than the national level and much better than our results in 2014 and for the previous 3 years. For reading results at level4+ we are the top school in Leicester.

Guitar Performance Richard Gilewitz is a world class guitarist who has wowed audiences internationally over many years. We are delighted to announce that, on Tuesday, 10th November, he will be coming into Dovelands to perform for all of Key Stage 2. He will be supported by Mark Ferraby, our ukulele teacher, who has worked at Dovelands for some time now. We are all looking forward to hearing him perform and hope Key Stage Two enjoy listening to him play. To find out more about Richard Gilewitz, please visit this website www.richardgilwitz.com
