********************************** Foundation school visit to Penny Well Farm Foundation classes had a wonderful time at Pennywell Farm in the sunshine yesterday. They milked the goat, collected eggs and fed the lambs and goats with bottles of milk. There were lots of baby piglets to cuddle and small animals like mice, guinea pigs and rabbits to pet. The children learned about the food that the animals eat and how they grow. Some helped to mix the milk for the lambs and they learned how to hold their hands out flat to feed the deer and goats. Everyone was well behaved and a credit to the school. Many thanks to all our parent helpers who supported us on the trip. There will be lots of photos on the class pages coming shortly and the children will be writing about their experiences next week. ***********************************************
